Join us in prayerfully working together to see gospel-centered churches planted and people in Japan living to follow Jesus! Gain real ministry experience while learning about cross-cultural ministry and church planting in urban Japan in a team-based environment at one of our local churches in Japan.

You will be given real ministry tasks as part of a team where you will have the opportunity to make an eternal impact for God’s kingdom while gaining new skills, experiences, and relationships.

 
 
 

More Info

  • Internships are 6-12 weeks based on availability with flexible starting and ending dates.

  • Interns are placed at one of our local churches in one of our established churches in Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Tokyo, Sendai, or Hiroshima. Placement is based on the needs and availability of the local church.

  • Ministry tasks will vary based on location, ministry experience, skill, and need. We hope to help you find a place to make an impact, thrive, and learn while being challenged to grow and serve in a new ministry context.

    • Examples of tasks include helping weekly Sunday services, participating in English-language outreach programs and Bible studies, and skill specific tasks in areas of worship, media, kids ministry, etc.

  • Internships are not paid, but we are available to meet with you to discuss support-raising options and strategies to help equip you to build a support team of people behind you as you work among the unreached in Japan.
